Projects that involve the development of a site often need some vegetation management or removal. Some developments may require multiple experts on the same site. The Treeman can collaborate with a larger team that involves other contractors to ensure that H&S documentation and processes are followed.
Works that involve disturbance of the soil near protected trees may require a resource consent. Sometimes the consent requires a qualified arborist to be on-site to observe and respond where necessary to work in and around the dripline of a protected tree. This may involve managing exposed roots and potentially cutting some of the roots in line with best practice.
The Treeman has qualified arborists who can provide this service.
When the unexpected happens and a car hits a tree or there is lightning damage to a tree on a main thoroughfare, we can provide a prompt response. Additionally, we provide an emergency response service for potentially dangerous trees after extreme weather events. We will prioritize and redirect staff to urgent work where the public or property is in danger. This may include working with contractors responsible for clearing access to the roads and utilities accountable for power and water.
